Why we don't sell comb honey.
Although many people request comb honey, we no longer offer it. The
reason is simple. In good conscience, it's no longer a luxury we can
afford if we truly care for our bees. Collecting comb honey compels a honey
bee colony to expend an enormous amount of their precious energy to rebuild
from scratch. Instead, we only extract the fluid honey from a rigid frame
of comb and return that intact comb to the hive. On the same day, in fact,
during a heavy nectar flow! Someday, we hope, when our honey bees are not in
such peril, we'll be able to savor the delicacy of comb honey again. That
time is not now. Thank you for understanding.
